Interview with Sally Kay, author of Reflexology Lymph Drainage - By Karen Williams | 8th December 2019
On a mission to share her work and research into reflexology lymph drainage, Sally Kay decided to write a book. It started off in fits and starts, and it took seven years of dreaming before her book came to fruition.
She was struggling with her beliefs, feared putting it out there and worried that her book wouldn’t be good enough. When we started to work together, we worked on Sally’s imposter syndrome, so that she could quickly get out of her own way. In addition, she realised that she was writing in a way that didn’t sound like her, and this was making it hard.
Sally worked with us on the structure, the words, the editing and design, to create a book that she was really proud of. Reflexology Lymph Drainage was published in June 2019. Sally is delighted at how well her book has been received.
To date, she’s sold around 2,000 copies. She has had some fabulous feedback, and she continues to run workshops all around the world. But most importantly, she’s now making the bigger difference that she wanted to make when she started to write it.
